Contraindications

NOT ELIGIBLE FOR PMU

For safety reasons, we are unable to perform permanent makeup services if you:

  • Are under 18 years old
  • Are pregnant or breastfeeding
  • Have uncontrolled diabetes
  • Have a bleeding disorder (such as hemophilia)
  • Have active skin conditions in the treatment area (eczema, psoriasis, rash, infection, open wounds)
  • Are currently undergoing chemotherapy or radiation (medical clearance required after completion)
  • Have taken Accutane (Isotretinoin) within the last 12 months
  • Are allergic to lidocaine, epinephrine, or topical anesthetics used during the procedure

MAY REQUIRE DOCTOR’S CLEARANCE

PMU may still be possible, but we may require approval from your physician if you:

  • Have controlled diabetes
  • Have a history of keloid or hypertrophic scarring
  • Are prone to cold sores or fever blisters (antiviral medication is strongly recommended for Lip Blush)
  • Have a history of seizures or other medical conditions that may affect safety
  • Are taking blood thinners, steroids, or medications that impact healing
  • Have had Botox, fillers, or injectables within the last 2–4 weeks
  • Have had chemical peels, laser treatments, or microdermabrasion within the last 4 weeks
  • Have sensitive, reactive, or very oily skin (results may vary)
  • Have any medical condition that may affect healing, immune response, or skin integrity

CLIENT RESPONSIBILITY

  • You are responsible for disclosing all relevant medical history before your appointment.
  • If you are unsure whether you are a good candidate, please consult your physician before booking.
  • Failure to provide accurate information may increase risk and affect your results.
